Jean Giraud Mœbius was his alias strictly used for his more science fiction, some would say psychedelic, artwork. He is special because the stroke of his pen, much like Hergé does not deviate. It’s always the same width descending into points where it would fade. Ligne Claire.

a form of minimalism that is designed to draw in the reader and maximize input by the reader. Like a Smily face is more universal. Example in movies would Leo’s character in Gangs of New York, who fades into the background where as Butcher Bill stands out like a sore thumb.
