I watched this film and I have to say it deserves all the praise. Knowing that they had a team of artists who hand painted every single frame of this film, it was a labour of love. That particular scene was heartbreaking

I love this film so much and it is unique, striking, beautiful. But I love Coco as well and Coco was a beautiful, hugely important film for many millions of people. The nomination is what counts in this case, really. They just had to pick one.
