Ohhhh that makes sense why my kitten who was playing on the window freaked out yesterday right before it started and my adult cat who was laying by my feet on the bed was still chilling

Wonder if animal sense the noise of the vibration from an earthquake arriving before the actual movement. Sort of like an explosion you will hear the boom but won't feel the shock until seconds later.
