Tbh I didn't completely hate the scarjo film, it just could've and should've been a lot better. But yeah I didn't bother with the new Point Break.

Hey lemme ask you something... re cyclists cause I just read your pinned tweet. So they often have about 2 metres between the edge of the road and the white line which separates them from traffic.. why do they not use that room and ride on or beyond the line? Why do that?

We as motorists are bound by law to stay 1.5 metres from a cyclist and yet the fact that they don’t use the room they have makes it all the harder for us to do that and stay safe in our lane without serving to give them room. I’ve seen it even on roads with a dedicated bike lane.

Not sure where you live, but here in Melbourne there's definitely nowhere near a metre between the edge of the road on the traffic lane. But even then, cyclists ride further out because there are often angles steel drain grates at the edge that can cause a cyclist to slip hard.

Imo the manga was awful, complete shock after the tonne being set by the series.

iirc, the manga was apparently more playful and sexual than the film (which is fine with me, I just treat it as an alternative universe), which went extreme cyberpunk.
