.....why not just own 2?

Often one pig dies before the other, so even if you adopt two at the same time, you'll eventually end up with a single one. This is how we have ended up with a revolving cast of piggies in our house -- one dies, so we adopt a new one, then the other dies, so we adopt another...

Aha Thank you Never heard of cavies, but I’m familiar with the rest. I’ll have to google an image of one

Apparently guinea pigs are rather tasty, breed faster than rabbits, and you can keep them in the kitchen where they run about eating vegetable trimmings.. post-brexit I’m off to Pets R us..

I had one wedged up my trouser leg once..
