This engraving by one of my favorite artists, Albrecht Dürer, called "the Knight, Death and the Devil" portrays Death as a rotten, spooky half-skeleton behind the Knight!pic.twitter.com/OMMMUvcJ82

Do you really need to bring all five of you scythes? We're just going to Burger King. Four. Four scythes, Martha. This one is a JAVELIN, and yes I do need them all Martha. THEY'RE FOR OUR PROTECTION, MARTHA.pic.twitter.com/djKb3ntTc0

@metal_crab is that skeleton holding those scythes correctly -
absolutely not. nor are they scythes, there's no curvature of the snath, nor are there even any nibs with which to grip. they're also missing a grass nail. also even if they were proper scythes he's not holding them safely or even in an effective position for reaping souls.

So what are they

show blades?

I shall take your word for it
