I remember when I used to laugh when they said birds were the dinosaurs descendant, but more and more you learn these guys are literal feathered raptors with beaks.

Funny you should mention that; the modern scientific consensus on the origin of birds is that they are simply an evolved variant of dinosaurs, physiologically distinct from their ancestors but still genetically related to a close enough degree to still be considered dinosaurs.
