I absolutely can’t tell if this is a good idea or not

Not with all that grass between them.

I’m generally a fan of empty green space suitable for recreation but I can’t imagine it getting any real use here

I would love this if instead of the empty green spaces there were trees and bushes and wildflower meadows.

Interesting. But it seems very inefficient. A lot of space outside, but the yards themselves are so cramped.

And evacuation in case of emergency could be hampered

Se ve bonito, pero parece poco práctico. Parece que cada familia está condicionada a un auto o perder perder parte de su pasto (y no me gustaría tener que salir en la mañana con todos queriendo salir por un mismo camino) .

Como dice Avocado, hay mucho espacio que no se aprovecha.

De hecho, pienso que si pusieran en linea las casas (como es usual) y dejaran el espacio como un parque recreativo y atras el bosque sería mejor. En forma de circulo solo se ve bonito desde arriba
