I literally came here to make this joke.
Moebius and Giger illustrated the Bible of the XXIst century. True story.
One of my favourites. Worth mentioning his work for Jodorowsky's "Dune", which I believe inspired Alien. Also, "Blueberry" is so entertaining that somebody should consider a proper TV adaptation.
Jodorowsky's Dune inspired pretty much all of SF in the decades afterwards (eg Star Wars, 5th Element). Both Moebius and Giger worked on Alien, so there's a direct link beyond just inspiration, I'd say?
You're right. I remembered the connection but wasn't sure to what extent.
Ridley Scott recently made this beautiful ad 100% riffing on Moebius, which makes me want to see a feature length version of the Hermetic Garage or at least the Incalhttps://youtu.be/Y1ruuTs134k
“Another day of being completely unable to make art like Moebius!” -Me, every day
I love this

L'Incal est une telle tuerie, première BD où dès les trois premières planches je me suis dit "je suis happé, ça va être incroyable".
This man was a living god
Strange you are absolutely fabulous!!!Love Moebius, but I love him more when he draws Blueberry...pic.twitter.com/lFVs4gosZS
