If you look at this longer clip, you see where the hippo started out from. It managed with that not so streamlined body, swim underwater that distance and almost cut them off. They went full throttle at the end and it emerged right at their tail. A truly paranormal hippo.

I'm trying to imagine a creature that can physically annihilate a pissed off hippo. All I can think of is whales and elephants. Maybe a rhino, he better land that initial charge.
