I'm skeptical as to the impact on the preexisting vegetation. Like, what are they planting, where, at what frequincy. If all they do is plant trees blindfolded, the ecological succession could have a disclimax or be altered altogether, and that would be more harm than good.

I remember planting a tree in middle school. Watching it start to grow in the middle of that field. Then later discovering the city had replaced it with a cement block.

I planted 1,000 pine trees on the hills of my hometown before graduating high school. The other choice was working at a hospital.

. I hope they are also required to rake those forests, otherwise they're just asking for trouble. .

Wow. That’s what I’M talking about. Just think: when America used to be a respectable country in the pre-rump era? If we had implemented this , the whole world would be doing it. Saving our dear earth instead of Finding ways to destroy it for $ sake.
