Gotta love medieval artists putting human faces on everything.
“ISILOP”
Broom with owl is a must if you want to be a cool Victorian witch. From "What to wear at fancy balls" published in 1887.pic.twitter.com/g362gOzkDP
The first owl perfectly conveys how I feel when I sitting on the edge of my bed debating whether I should go to my 8:30am class or miss it again for the 2nd time this week.
Oh shit boi number 4 got a mighty fine hat
They’ve seen some shit
absolutely losing it over this flappy boi, looks like it was drawn by Matt Groening, has that wild "Mr Burns Deciding Between Ketchup And Catsup" energypic.twitter.com/LRgdL0V199
I feel like I have to ask whether any of these people had ever actually seen an owl before, or if they just heard someone describe them once
Seems like they just had owls explained to them and then took a stab at it.
I like the one with the hat. Hippie owl.
for the record, you do realize that these owls are very strange, eh?
A lot of animal drawings from this time period are. Theý obviously were not drawing from nature. Some of them were actually formula drawings. There's one of a lion I've seen which was basically a compass drawing. That's why it looks so weird.
I love them
Based on the fourth pic, medieval times had hipster owls.
