Snow leopards prefer to inhabit steep cliff areas, rocky outcrops and ravines. Such habitats provide them with the camouflage they need to ambush unsuspecting prey

right. the habitat + evolution provides them camouflage. its not like they wake up and put on camo-suits and makeup. nothing 'expert' about it. just evolution.
