My favorite horror video game ever. Alien Isolation comes close

Oh and Alien Isolation is REALLY good too. It's a very different game but I've seen some playthroughs on YouTube and there were quite a few moments that basically made my heart stop briefly, lol. For a game that can be pretty streamline the A.I. of the alien can be really random.

Yes the sense of tension is palpable throughout. The game takes its time to build dread. The third act is kind of weak but man, it's still great overall. Also I'm a little biased because I'm a huge fan of the original film.

Definitely. It does take awhile to get a good look at the alien but it's worth it. Then u meet the Working Joes, haha. They're such a great enemy. I'm forgetting their quotes rn but I love the delivery of their dialogue. Also "You always know a Working Joe" is a great tagline.
