this is the reason I hated Dumbo as a kid... psychedelic elephants. hard pass.

I hated that scene. Night on Bald Mountain? No problem. Loved it. Pink Elephants? Fuck no! Scared the shit out of me. That whole movie was a fucking mess.

So much hatred for Dumbo! OK, there's the of-its-time racist stereotyping, we all know that's not on... but Pink Elephants is awesome, one of the best parts of the movie. There, I said it.

This is how it feels every time you tackle one problem. A million others appear!

Gave me nightmares for years, this dream sequence.

I couldn't watch this movie for years because it was so sad watching Dumbo and his incarcerated mother... . (Is incarcerated a word? English isn't my first language.)

This is my favorite scene in the movie.

". . .They're walking around your bed, on their head. . ."

I needed therapy after seeing this as a child.
