Actually, that's a piebald (patchy pigmentation) peacock. Peahens are brown, not white (unless they're albino).

Butterflys don't grow as adults, they only grow as caterpillars, and after metamorphosis they stay the same size their whole lives. It lived long enough for someone to capture it though!
