The robot garden scene is easily the next part of the movie. When the two characters realize how long the broken down robot's been frozen, guarding what's basically its own tomb while Hisaishi's score is driving it into you, the mix of sadness and existential horror is amazing.

The OST for the scene. 2:30 specifically is the part that really kills me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMa8T1LSFe0 … So incredible. Ghibli is full of geniuses. Hisaishi himself is easily one of the best composers in history, in my opinion. He might be the best, to me.

Good film; shame we've never had both the 1986 and 2003 scores available at once, because they're both very well-made, yet the 1986 one is the only one included in most home media releases, and the 2003 score is the only one to get a proper CD release (albeit in Japan alone).
