How does the machine know?

It's a simple analog way. The each owners unlock the machines when the disaster happens. They work without electricity. Ppl take only what they need and share, never break the machine.

Thx. such kinda ethics still alive on some part of jpn. There's nobody tried to hog the foods or drinks at 3.11. We realize that we can do nothing and just cooperate in front of huge disasters and loss.
