Actually I think that was what they called Godzilla vs. Megalon (note Jun Fukuda's name credited as the director.) Of course the poster has nothing to do with what happens in the movie, but that was probably for the best.

Huh. You might be right about that. Our Googling showed it as part of a run of classic monster movies that was done in the 80’s in France. Didn’t even think to look at the other names when it was given to us. Awesome.
