Bruce also accidental hit him and spent the rest of the shoot apologizing to Jackie apparently.

Bruce had very low body fat. He was art in motion.
-
Weighed only 125 lbs before his accidental death. Worked out like a beast, some have said he was probably the strongest man in the world on a pound for pound basis.
-
I love Bruce Lee's films & I've read (& own) two of his books, The Tao of Jeet Kune Do & his Fighting Method book. What martial artist hasn't? But these 'strongest' & 'greatest' claims? In martial arts (& everything else), physics wins. I think even he would dispute those claims.
-
Well, he did have a brutal floating punch. https://youtu.be/TVmraXBRzek I’m talking more about muscular strength outside of combat application tho. Say you take strongmen like Brian Shaw or Thor Bjornsson and shrink em down to Bruce’s 5’6”/125 lbs and have them do those lifts.
-
Bruce Lee's research into the straight left is a like holy writ to boxers who know about it & look for it. Lee didn't like the idea of the jab. He felt it was possible to project real power with the lead hand. He also stressed leading with our dominant side, where that power is.
-
Wow, didn’t know that, that’s pretty cool. I do remember reading that he kept his dominant side forward so that the weaker hand could develop more momentum due to the longer travel distance.
-
When I train (I no longer compete), I practice shifting when I'm sparring or working the heavy bag, going from orthodox to southpaw & back again. Southpaw has its own problems too lengthy to discuss here but everyone should know how to shift if only to keep the opponent guessing.

Jackie Chan is a homophobe who let his daughter go homeless bc she’s gay. but Bruce Lee is cool i guess
-
The daughter who stole 30 000 dollars wirth of jewelry with her gf? Not once? Her own mother told her to grow up and get a job with her gf who's a teacher but quited that job to black mail Jackie as a career. Read before you talk, research it's free
-
Is it your daughter? Is she not adult enough to fend for herself? Go take care of her if you wish, homophobe here and there. If you can't wish him a happy birthday, take your negative energy far from here The world is for all, not just your rules

For a minute I thought you were coming at me
.. I wanted to declare war of information

For those of us who will never be a Bruce Lee, Jackie means hope that we, too, might subdue a bully with smarts and speed. Happy birthday, Jackie!

I didn't know Jackie was in it until I saw this. His 80s Hong Kong movies are great.
