I was just swimming around in a creek after work, and one of these guys came up from under me, up against my chest. I was moving my arms and legs as gently as possible to keep me moving, but not so much that I scared the ray and got stabbed.

This wasn't long after the whole Steve Irwin thing, so I was doing my best not to freak out, and to not freak out the ray. After it carted me along for a few feet, it dove back down out of sight. I was quick to get out of the water after that. I figured I'd tempted fate enough
