        Yes, this Japanese water cake is made of 3 ingredients: a gyubi base, a sticky-sweet brown sugar syrup coating, and a dusting of kinako soybean powder.

        Most of the recipes I've seen over the years are just agar powder and water, with a topping of roasted soybean flour and/or brown sugar syrup.
