Alfred Hitchcock told a story of a letter he received from a mother whose daughter would not shower after seeing "Psycho" or bathe after seeing "Frenzy". Hitchcock suggested dry cleaning. I didn't find "The Birds" terrifying. Sorry, Hitch.

The delightful children in London seem to be getting a lot sturdier though. The way they charge through Trafalgar Square, the birds flying in every which way being terrified. B.t.w. Frightened birds don't just fly, it looks like a Ben and Jerry convention on the sidewalk !!!
