The first time I saw one of these in my yard it blew my mind. I had no idea these existed. For a brief moment I knew what it felt like to be a primitive man who had no idea what next crazy thing this world would throw at me.
I've seen these in my mother's garden while I was growing up. They're extremely convincing hummingbird mimics, right down to the hover and wing buzz. They're beautiful moths too.
So cool!! I've never even heard of them!
These fool me all the time. The only giveaway till I get closer is they usually like low bushes.
she succ
I will have 100 of them please

I saw one at the hummingbird feeder once. They really make your head spin.
It’d smash well
Have them in my garden in the countryside. These little buddies have become very welcome companions
the first time I saw one of these I described it to a friend as a furry lobster with wings
Every summer I have several Hummingbird Moths visit my yard. They love the lantana and plumbago flowers. They’re fun to watch.
Bird of the bee of the moth
The first time I saw one in person it was mesmerizing, and it wasn't people-shy at all.

MOTHRA
I remember seeing one of these in my grandparents' garden as a teen. Fascinating critters!
It's his earth not ours and we're ruining it for him.#sorry
