Kaliningrad's Dancing Forest (Russia) is a pine forest with unusual twisted trees. Among locals, this forest is also known as "The Drunken Forest"pic.twitter.com/iUOTqRJogR

Sooooo... is this forest anywhere near Chernobyl? Or is it the locals bending the trees as they’re growing to mess with the rest of the world? 😉

Kaliningras is situated among Poland and Lithuania as a separate part but belongs to the Russia, pretty far from Ukraine.

My guess was that the frost would force the trees upward, causing them to bend and then grow towards the sun again in the spring

I think the snow weighed them down causing them to bend down. And when the snow melted they started growing upward again.
