This is interesting because most Western religions use robots to spread their teachings... but they’re completely organic units.

I actually really enjoyed those two shorts.
-
Same here, they were my two favorites
-
I think my favorite was the one that took place in Japan, with the glitching area.

Well, given that "no-self" is one of the tenants of Buddhism, perhaps it's an error to think that we are fundamentally different from androids in the first place.

This is the most superficial and least Buddhist thing I’ve ever seen.
-
They've had statues for centuries. This one has moving parts. Also, being in the presence of objects does not equate to attachment to them. Maybe you're talking about something else, though.
-
They are trying to draw in young people with technology so they can make money. Desire causes suffering and they desire money. They are so scared, greedy and superficial that they’ve forgotten that any and all attachments to the illusiory physical world are false.
-
"Deliver the teachings of Buddhism" "No, it's money!" You've projected your reasoning onto them, that's not their problem.
-
Nor yours. Mind your own opinions!
-
Educate your opinions and you'll find less people minding them.
-
I was raised Buddhist and went to India when I was 12. You need to stop being a lonley ignorant troll.
-
Then you do horrible disservice to your upbringing with your defense of holding incorrect opinions. Going to India doesn't equate to knowing what you're talking about. You can quote the dharma all day and it won't mean anything if you don't understand it.
