This fascinates me, who's bike was it I wonder, how come it was left for so long for the tree to be able to take it over.
I heard story that a guy left his bike propped against the tree when he went to join up in WW1...he never came back.
If tru, that would be very poignant.
Not sure of the validity of the story but I’ve seen the WW 1 story referenced before as well
One in my garden is doing that to the garden tap. It’s the thirsty tree. Gonna take a pic when I’m out of my PJs.
"What's she doing now?" "It looks like she's photographing the tap in her PJs" "Oh right..."
We must maintain standards. Or at least impressions.
The pole part has long since been consumed. It was very much there 11 years ago though, when we moved in.pic.twitter.com/Tpg1EPRkEC
Yeah. I’m figuring the orangey pipe is the water inflow, so if I get a plumber to cut that and install a new tap, the tree can finish its meal in peace, yes? Or am I way off?
Probably, but I'd trust whatever the plumber says
That's a benchmark for tree growth.
Someone told this tree to grow up and settle down in life.
There's a tree in Cardiff, Wales that's eating a post box - letters posted here come out reading "Groot"pic.twitter.com/AbvArpdPjD
That's not a tree, it's an #Ent.
It's a bark bench. I'll throw myself out...
