Btw "Brocken" is the German mountain where the phenomenon was first described.
Pretty sure this does not count as a Brockengespenst. It is just the shadow of the skyline on the clouds.

I've always wondered, since all you need is some height (a tall building ought to work as well as a mountain) and some fog... are there any urban Brocken Spectres? I've never heard of one.
