When I got the book, I was living in a house 100 years older than Caxton. We called it "Rotwang's House" as I was working in robotics at the time. The house had arrow slits in the walls. Weirdest place I've lived.

How great to have had the opportunity to experience living in that house. Brugge or London? Am of the mind that exposure to different environments like that play a part in enabling us to look at things from a different perspective. Maybe it enhanced your robotic studies?

Yorkshire. I love mediaeval architecture. Not sure it helped with the robotics though. I've lived in few interesting buildings. Need to do that again.
