I get some serious H.R Giger vibes from these illustrations! If someone asked me to show them an example of taking inspiration from another artist and still make the resulting work your own this would be my choice.

Totally agree. It's amazing how HR Giger work still inspires so many illustrators around the world. His art was truly groundbreaking!

As long as his work is remembered and appreciated,as long as still living artists take inspiration from his work i would say that H.R Giger in a way is still alive.

Did you know that Giger was directly involved in the artistic direction of Darkseed,a mid nineties point and click adventure game and it's sequel? For the first game Giger made original art. The sequel had no original Giger art but licensed some of his older art instead.

I've heard about Darkseed before but never had the chance to play it. I believe it's considered one of the scariest games of all time.
