As a young student, Norwegian mathematician Fredrik Carl Mülertz Størmer used a small Concealed Vest Camera to photograph life on the streets of Oslo in the 1890s. The camera was hidden under the vest with the lens sticking out through a buttonholepic.twitter.com/k5WWdx7xiD

"La Table servie" is one of the first photographs taken in the history of mankind, taken in 1832 or in 1833, realized without doubt according to the procedure of the physautotype, attributed to the French inventor and the founder of photography Nicéphore Niépcepic.twitter.com/NjStOV5e93

Nice, but note it wasn’t called Oslo then, it was named Christiania or Kristiania up to 1925, when it was renamed back to Oslo, a variation of the historical name Ánsló.
