They make, among other things, booze out of the fruit part.

Here in Brazil we make sweets, juice, cajuína (also a kind of juice, but filtered and clarified until it becomes a sweet, clear and delicious liquid), fruit preserves and mix it in drinks -- like Caipirinha, in lieu of lime -- but I'd never heard of booze made from it. Till now!
