        Not pictured: the cage helmed rail guardians who use steel and flame to stand sentry at the tunnel mouths lest the ratkin from the underdark swarm up and devour the world of man. We tend not to mention them in the tourism videos.

        This was inside a tunnel and during the time the London Underground was using only steam locomotives. This would’ve been a fire hazard

        Well if that’s the case (which now I am sure of it) then I can see why they used wood. But I thought this was just the normal underground and not the deep tube.
