In medieval folklore, the 'Sea Bishop' was a humanoid sea monster captured and brought to the King of Poland. It was shown to a group of bishops. The creature begged to be set free. Its request granted, the Sea Bishop made the sign of the cross and returned to its native oceanpic.twitter.com/RA91c5cmYL

Something about this story seems a little suspect. How could a creature with such foreshortened arms make the sign of the cross?
