That entire Santa scene legitimately scared me as a child. I have no idea why. Also, the scene where the kid's tongue gets stuck on the pole also scared me. That, however, still kinda does.

I worked for “Santa” back in the 70s His name was Jeff and he owned the Great Southern Stage, a film production studio in Miami. A great guy, he passed away in 1995.
