Need more info: 1) "Received any new clothes" - what if they were purchased & paid for online, but are in transit? 2) How long ago can they have been acquired? If I got some new clothes, say, at Halloween, am I safe? 3) If I stay indoors on xmas eve, am I safe?

Maybe it's not the clothes its after, but the cardboard box they arrived in? Cats notoriously love boxes!!!

Norwegians: How can we get our kids to show some appreciation for getting socks and underwear?

One year my aunts all got my sister and I white tube socks for Christmas. At first we were disappointed, but it got more and more funny as we kept opening them. By the end we were howling laughing while counting out our haul. Each got over 100 pairs of socks that Christmas.
