I keep forgetting that despite Dante's graphic interpretation of Heaven and Hell, ultimately it's just him throwing shades at people, judging them who he thinks should be in heaven, hell or in purgatory.
The Divine Comedy is actually really cool because it was the major artistic work to be written in a vernacular language (Italian) at a time when anything of importance was written solely in Latin. Dante took a lot of shit for it and helped end that tradition. #TheMoreYouKnow
