The problem is that it remains in the systems self interest to maintain the status quo, fully supported by the human need for a class based system which in turn is motivated by a biological need reproduce with the best genes and maintain their continued existence.

Cooperation is far more powerful than competition. Everyone gains more in the long run. The justification given for competition is that it increases drive / invention. However, this is flat out wrong. Humans are naturally curious, thrive on creating+ input increases exponentially

I fully agree cooperation is the way to go logically. I am inferring though that as a species our judgement is too clouded by basic instinct and a scarcity mentality carried over from when we used to kill each other for resources.

I do however disagree on your competition point. Competition and stress is crucial for development.
