‘Artist with a disability’ rather
Nah she's disabled. She doesn't carry her disability with her like luggage, it literally informs who she is.
Changing the phrase to ‘person with a disability’ helps us see the person first rather than their disability. Their disability does not define who they are.
Disability activists ask for identity first language instead of person first language. I'm one of them. Have a nice day.
I work closely with people with disabilities and I intend to go by what my clients prefer therefore I’ll continue to do so.
Obviously continue to call your clients what they request but don't correct people who prefer ifl
