The black and white version of this film is absolutely stunning. It feels so much smarter and more understated. I can understand why they wouldn't let that be the theatrical relief, but I'll never watch it in color again.

A man on stilts, presumably covered in feathers. The Vuvalini would send their male children out into the swamps to fend for themselves, preserving a wholly female society, and only returning to them to... <Ahem> 𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘥. At least, if I remember correctly.
