I love stuff like this, where you can see why the story would have come about (to get people to gently handle shoji) but also that are so creepy as hell I'm always going to think about it when I see them lol
I feel like I need to apologise to my host family again for ripping one or two small holes when removing strange insect eggs from shoji three years ago − who knows what I could have contributed towards
