They are right on the border. They oppose the wall primarily because it would catastrophically disrupt the habitat they maintain. Their presence on the border prevents completion of said wall.

Yep, this is the same play he used in NM where the mayor & security council needed body guards because of the death threats and scared them into letting him continue his fence without the proper permits.He's hooked up with Erik Prince too for security. So snipers, yeah.
