George defends his sweeping changes by claiming we essentially have to “go big or go home,” but when you’re dealing w matters that substantially affect both victims’ and defendants’ lives, you have to be thoughtful. Go big or go home is disastrous in this context.

The most impt trait of a good prosecutor, from the top down, is good judgment. You don’t exhibit good judgment when you dump the baby out with the bath water and implement broad stroke policies.
