You’re right - let’s ignore all the poor and middle class workers that have lost their jobs bc of the store closures and shortened hours. And let’s also pretend prosecuting retail theft and wage theft are mutually exclusive.

Yes I’m right that you don’t really care about workers. Just a blowhard with an agenda

You don't care about workers dealing with rampant shoplifting and losing their jobs due to stores closing

as someone who worked retail: retail employees do not care about shoplifting. shoplift all you want. It doesn't change any of the employees days.

You don’t live in the Bay either. Look up why B8ta in SF closed. They classified SF has the most dangerous location they have stores in in the nation. The owner said he cannot keep his employees safe.

You didn't read the article at all. How come only Walgreens closed stores? Cvs didn't.

Also, the theft issue has been happening, the only reason it’s getting Attn now is bc of these videos. It’s been a huge problem pre-Covid in SF.

And I don’t mean a few thefts here and there, people stealing for food. I’m talking rampant theft. These videos exist from 2019 too. It wasn’t getting the attn it is now.

hmmmm ask yourself why is it getting attention now? Literally the point of Adam's article. It's getting attention now because right wing idiots want to push a tough on crime narrative. Also check this screen shot from an article the other idiot postedpic.twitter.com/dJsa20ZXM5
