Progressive values as preached in SF are performative, not consummated. Where is this “mass incarceration” in San Francisco, or San Leandro, for that matter? Convictions & incarceration isn’t done “en masse”. SF has closed one jail and halved inmate pop. - and that was by April.

SF County level populations were reduced to slow the spread of covid. CA as a a state still has a lot of people locked up.

Do you care that a lot more people are dying thanks to Chesa's policies?

More will die from Mayor Breed turning down free FEMA to house the unhoused. Don't pretend like you know anything about the relationship between government policy and death

This is a mischaracterization: the data is from 2019. We did even better last year, killing 699 people, +45%. We’re growing like one of those tech companies that’s fleeing my crime-ridden city along with all their employees and tax dollars! :D

SF had a record number of overdose deaths in 2020. https://sfist.com/2021/01/15/sf-saw-triple-the-number-of-overdose-deaths-than-covid-19-deaths-in-2020/ … That's not doing better
