I know, like seriously, i know coding is hard, but having a content id system not be able to tell inbetween 2 exact same videos and deciding that the thief's video is the real one even though it was uploaded AFTER is just dumb and bad programming

Except that that's not always the right answer. YouTube isn't the only place to host videos online. Someone combing newgrounds or Vimeo could trump the time stamp algorithm.
