I think that once python 3 has been injected into pipelines (vfx platform) we will see even more people using it. Right now it’s very difficult to play ball with blender in a studio pipeline.

Interesting enough was that the "issue" with integrating Blender into the pipeline (in terms of publishing assets via blender) was that blender switched to the latest version of python (python 3.7.# of I'm not mistaken).

What was the reason/problem that was being solved that brought Blender into the pipeline? Was it as easy as just picking and using it or did you need to invest in time to make it work?
