I still have very powerful mandate tho and strong meritocracy...in classic world power fashion I will try to boost confidence by waging a few wars. Mamluks didn't learn their lesson and set up new colonies in Indonesia so they're first up.

I have tributaries in Baluchistan, Somalia, and Baniyas, as well as an alliance with Tunis and Ethiopia. Deploying armies to all allied countries; this will be a march to Cairo and won't end until mamluks are paying tribute

Land force limit is 413,000 of which 377,000 are mobilized or in recruitment. Naval force limit is 526 with 322 afloat, I will start a naval buildup now tho, aiming for 522 ships by the end of the war.

Before I start I'm just gonna intervene in a separatist rebellion in Marehan--their army of 10k can't beat the 18k rebels, buy 25k Japanese soldiers under Hayashi Hidenobu (4/5/4/2) should make short work of them.

Cairo has fallen to a siege of 48k men, will consolidate control over the Nile Delta then besiege Alexandria. Only battle so far was an upset, 12k under Shibata Nobuyuki defeated a mamluk force 18k strong under Faraj Zangi al-Nasr

Current status + 3 detail maps. Mamluks have assembled their main force right where I'm weakest and will destroy my occupying forces before I can get reinforcements in...but they'll end up trapped between Shibata's army coming up from Oman and the large army besieging Tabuk.pic.twitter.com/sOJTXCqRfx
