also I re-territorialized Hokkaido and Luzon, then converted Beijing and Canton into states and promoted the local cultures, so I've averted the looming disaster--we Celestial Emperors nao
addendum: I gotta say it is sooo much better to fight Ming while fort tech is still at level 2
...and on that note I better hurry up and fight them again soon to get Nanjing and Wuhan before they learn how to fortify better
Prioritize taking provinces that have forts the next time you fight them. (This is a good general strategy for any country you play as)
I did--took Canton, Beijing, and Shenyang. But there are so many!
