As far as people calling for the abolition of cars--Idk how anyone takes them seriously, and wonder how many of them aren't just trying to shock or provoke. It's like depopulation advocacy. If you want to worry about them, be my guest--I have more tangible concerns to fret about.

Concerns like the opposition to a law that would allow more construction near train stations in California--opposition which is based on the premise that allowing more people to live near trains = confiscating cars. But hey--thank heavens they don't want to BAN trains!
